Mailroom Observations
While prepping my oatmeal and coffee combo in the pantry this morning, I overheard two mailroom staffers—one obviously a new hire—having this conversation:
“So you see, look at the numbers on these packages, never look at the names.”
“Why not the names?”
“The faces change every day. I’ll go to the same desk each week and a different person will be sitting there, they keep coming and going, so just look at the numbers.”
We’re all just drifting along.
